
On the morning of October 14, the first session of "One JCI Leadership Excellence Program Johnson Controls APAC" was officially opened by ECUST School of Business and Johnson Controls (China) Investment Co., Ltd..
Ma Tieju, Dean of the School of Business, and Anu Rathninde, President of Johnson Controls APAC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. A number of guests, including the leading team of Johnson Controls APAC and lecturers of the School of Business, came to the ceremony.

On behalf of the School, Ma Tieju expressed his congratulations on the successful start of the first session of the One JCI Leadership Excellence Program Johnson Controls APAC. He said in his speech that ECUST School of Business adheres to the concept of "investigation of things" and has established close industry-university-research cooperation with many multinational companies and domestic leading enterprises over the years. As ECUST is celebrating its 70th anniversary, it is even more meaningful to be a partner with Johnson Controls.
"We are looking forward to cooperating with Johnson Controls in action learning, industry-education integration and collaborative education in the future and cultivating new business elites who meet the needs of the new era," said Mr. Ma. The School attaches great importance to this program and will provide the faculty with profound academic attainments and rich teaching experience to create a comprehensive system and professional and high-quality course contents, hoping that the participants can develop comprehensive leadership and career competitiveness through the in-depth learning journey in ECUST School of Business.

On behalf of Johnson Controls, Anu Rathninde then congratulated the participants who were selected for the first session of "One JCI Leadership Excellence Program Johnson Controls APAC". He said that Johnson Controls, as a pioneer of smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, is committed to improving the social environment, human life and the world at large through cutting-edge, digital and sustainable solutions. It is a great honor for Johnson Controls to cooperate with ECUST School of Business, one of the "Double-First Class" universities.
The program is designed to cultivate participants into managers and leaders with new knowledge of modern management by drawing on management wisdom, relying on the advantages of engineering management disciplines of ECUST, gathering excellent faculty, featured courses and characteristic industries, and providing in-depth analysis and discussion of classic management cases. Anu Rathninde also wished every participant a delightful journey of transformation in this program.
Awarding of school badge
At the ceremony, Ma Tieju also awarded the badges to the participants on behalf of the School. Mr. Dai Chengbin, Engineering Director of OpenBlue Digital Technology of Johnson Controls (China), received the badges and made a speech as the representative of the participants. At the end of the ceremony, all members took a group photo.
