Recently, in accordance with the "Notice of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission on the Announcement of the results of the First-Class Undergraduate Courses in Shanghai universities in 2020", "Data and scenario-driven virtual simulation experiment of intelligent manufacturing production decision-making for daily chemical enterprises" led by Professor LI Ying and "Real-time Big Data Spatial Statistics Virtual Simulation Experiment" led by Professor WU Yuming were recognized as Shanghai Municipal-Level First-Class Undergraduate Courses in 2020.

The virtual simulation experiment teaching course is an important part of the First-Class undergraduate course "Double-Ten-Thousand Plan", and one of the five major types of "golden courses" that the Ministry of Education focuses on.
