Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission issued the "Notice of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission on the Announcement of the List of 2019 Shanghai Municipal Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers".

The Smart Business Experimental Teaching Center of ECUST School of Business has successfully obtained the approval and construction of Shanghai Municipal Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers through application, school recommendation, experts evaluation, site investigation, etc.

The predecessor of the Smart Business Experimental Teaching Center was the comprehensive laboratory of the Business School which established in 1985. After years of construction, it has gradually become a business experimental teaching center with distinct characteristics of science and engineering.

In the future, the center will take this successful approval as an opportunity to further take on a more important education mission in the training of talents and the construction of our school’s new engineering disciplines. We will focus on cultivating students’ ideas about data, creativity and practical ability, continue to explore experimental teaching reforms, and promote the sharing of high-quality experimental teaching resources among interdisciplinary subjects.
